Our WingChun KungFu academy is education driven i.e. not training driven, it is based on the 3 learning foundation consisting of:
1. Theory Studies and Sharing
2. Collaborative lesson and exercises
3. Daily Individual Training
for approach Student Driven Learning (SDL) via Collaborative Experience Sharing (CES) by e.g. using our internal web tool/content and exchange.
Since our linage are applying traditional WingChun pedagogic with academic approach, we have therefore expectation on the student/practitioners e.g. we have family team approach for collaborative sharing and openness.
Distance learning and services is supported, so you need to response on our web forum within a day
Since our linage is using traditional WingChun pedagogic with academic approach, please consider the following:
Good Discipline, Motivation, Patience and Loyalty (DMPL)
Open for collaboration and contribution to the team (Teamwork)
Good study-discipline for training and study our WingChun theories written in English
Good time management and time budget
1. Have a individual training plan with minimal 30 minutes per day.
2. Time for theoretical studies with collaboration using our internal Web forum
Good ability for target 90% presence with ability to notify absence and date change flexibility
Don't bring comparison and competition mindset when partner training, learning and training WingChun requires development of humility for avoid e.g. irritation.
Accept an WingChun instructor is educate and not training you, you have to train the moments wrong for improve it to be right ... Accept the way of learning how to learn WingChun e.g. learning by teaching, humble for learning ...
We are an non-profit academy and without any subsidy from the government or other organizations by e.g. providing children activities or courses etc.
therefore will our fees vary per term, since it is totally depending on expected number of participants for cover all costs, then it is important that you are price flexible and pay in time for support us.
First try lesson is free of charge
No late payments
No cash payments , extra fee for cash handling.
The price will NOT be reduced for drop-in during the term.
Yearly WCAA Support license is mandatory, expires at year end, needs to be renew for spring term
Yearly WCAA Support license is for cover the right to use WCAA educational IT tools, resources, framework and brand, since this group is an independent business licensing under WCAA. The education/training fee pays therefore directly to the Group Instructor who is the business owner and is legal indent of WCAA.
Yearly WCAA support license fee is included if you are already paying term fee for Akalla Practitioner / Instructor Group
Yearly WAIS insurance membership fee is optional and expires end of year
