WingChun Academy Association - Sweden (WCAA-Sweden)is founded December 2005 by Peter Yeung. Our Web site service was started since August 2006. WingChun Academy Association - Sweden (WCAA-Sweden) is an non-profit Academy with a business model following the Swedish "Hobby Verksamhet" According to Swedish tax authority "Skatteverket" SKV 344. In WCAA-Sweden's fee is to cover our hidden cost for bring the original WingChun KungFu direct from HongKong ( Ip Chun WingChun lineage) since we don't have any subsidy from the Swedish local government or other organizations. WCAA-Sweden is doing further WingChun development as martial art and health with activates like education, seminaries, presentations and documentations etc. Within the unique WCAA-Sweden hobby business concept needs also own Java software development of WCAA-Sweden Mobile/Web application tool i.e. for education tool and automatic information/business processing in order to achieve distance learning, team collaboration, privacy data handling for compliance with IT security etc. This require fully own developed and hosted IT architecture solution for comply to WCAA-Sweden concept and the EU GDPR regulation - 2016/679 regarding privacy data protection. This results in high costs for IT operation, IT solutions and development, WCAA-Sweden is therefore also applying DevOps.

WingChun Academy Association Sweden (WCAA-Sweden) is acting as supplier to organizations/associations or individuals with WingChun services, education framework and marketing under WCAA-Sweden brand, this mean that WCAA-Sweden is financial separated without any legal responsibility towards sub organizations, see see our agreement. This includes a complete services offerings directly to members / students of the association; WingChun Academy IF Stockholm (WAIS) or to other academies / association.

Since is WCAA-Sweden is an non-profit hobby business with Evangelical Christian Values (ECV), WingChun Academy Association Sweden is therefore also donates revenues to e.g. Salvation Army ( Frälsningsarmen ) for support their aid work and support Nordic Chinese Christian Church (NCCC) activates (including web/IT hosting for Stockholm NCCC).

WingChun Academy IF Stockholm (WAIS)

WingChun Academy IF Stockholm (WAIS) is founded August 2009 by Peter Yeung, Daniel Gomez and Johan Andersson.
WAIS is an non-profit association (ideell förening) registered at Svenska Budo & Kampsportsförbundet (SB&K) a federation under Riksidrottsförbundet (RF), this means that WAIS is member of the sub-federation Swedish Kung Fu and Wushu Federation.
WAIS's objective is to be a student association forum for WingChun training and education decisions using E-democracy in cooperation with WingChun Academy Association - Sweden without own business (verksamhet). WAIS have therefore no financial or economics and does not either apply for any financial contribution (bidrag).
WAIS fee to Svenska Budo & Kampsportsförbundet (SB&K) is paid by WCAA-Sweden as part of WCAA-Sweden student service offering.

Lineage

Our WingChun Kuen 詠春拳 is mainly direct from Grandmaster Sifu. Ip Chun 葉準師父 in Hong Kong i.e. the first and currently the only academy in Sweden with the shortest linage.
Grandmaster Sifu. Ip Chun (born July 1924) is know as eldest son of the famous legend Ip Man 葉問 (Yip Man).
The legend Ip Man 葉問 (Yip Man) is also known as the Sifu for the passed KungFu movie star Bruce Lee 李小龍 , but more today in the different Wing Chun movies especially in all famous Ip Man movies, Sifu. Ip Chun has also act in movie The Legend Is Born: Ip Man .

Vision

To make every WingChun student to become a high quality WCAA WingChun instructors/pedagogues with holistic competences for easier to start and drive an own WingChun academy or association (förening) with ethics, moral and respect.

Mission

The mission is for spread the traditional soft/internal Wing Chun Kuen 詠春拳 KungKu 功夫 in Sweden. This includes: philosophy, Cantonese culture, ethics and conception of life.

WCAA's 3 goals are:

1. Educate WingChun instructors/pedagogues
2. Support organizations/associations that want to teach WCAA-Sweden WingChun
3. Continues further development of our WingChun concept

Profile

• An academy with holistic view on wellness and efficient self-defence for survival under emergency situation.
• WCAA have a higher focus of WingChun as internal martial art, this means also student driven learning and self driven training.
